Profile Reports summarize the results of an individual administration, providing scores for all scales.
The FAB–C is available as a handscored QuikScore™ form and in online format. The items are statements, such as "Kids pick on me." The child is asked to respond to the statements by checking Yes or No. A score is provided for each scale, along with a total score. With the online format, you can instantly generate Profile Reports.
Scientific Validation
The replicability of the six-factor model for the FAB–C items (excluding the four items that are used on the Problem Index) was tested using confirmatory maximum likelihood factor analysis. The data had good fit to the six-factor FAB–C model. These results strongly support the view that the FAB–C is a multidimensional measure. More detailed information on discriminative validity and construct validity can be found in the FAB–C Technical Manual.
The normative sample for the FAB–C consisted of 1,988 children. Separate norms are available for boys and girls in 2-year age intervals. Raw scores are easily converted to T-scores with the QuikScore™ Form.
